The Snowball Tournament at Betfair Poker

The Snowball Tournament at Betfair PokerThe Snowball Tournament at Betfair Poker is something of an annual Christmas tradition. Whilst non-poker players have to be content with endless turkey meals and just as endless television repeats, online poker room fans can play for a jackpot that snowballs faster than a family argument. The Snowball Tournament itself takes place on Sunday 27 December at 8pm, and the buy-in is a flat $50, but before you can participate you will first need to play in three qualifying tournaments.

The three tournaments we are referring to are played on a daily basis, and every time a player buys into them, $3 is added to the prize pool for the main Snowball Tournament. The three daily tournaments are:

The HOT! Stack Up $12,000 GTD
The HOT! Turbo Pursuit $10,000 GTD
The HOT! 6-Shooter $3,600 GTD

If you want to participate in The Snowball Tournament on 27 December then you will need to have played in each of the three daily tournaments between 17 and 23 December. Those of you who play at Betfair Poker regularly may already have qualified without realising it, but if you haven’t yet entered the three daily tournaments named above, you have a couple of days left to get the job done.

Players who qualify for participation in The Snowball Tournament will be pre-registered automatically, so all you have to do is pay the $50 buy-in and turn up on Sunday 27 December to play for a slice of The Snowball Tournament prize pool.

Because the prize pool offered by The Snowball Tournament is growing all the time, you won’t know exactly how much you will be playing for until after 23 December. However, you can take a look at where the Snowball prize pool stands right now by visiting The Snowball Tournament page at Betfair Poker.

Visit Betfair Poker today to start playing in the required daily HOT! tournaments (you could win a very nice pile of cash from those alone) and to secure your place in The Snowball Tournament. It’s going to be a lot more fun than another viewing of the Sound of Music, that’s for sure…
