The Jackpot Hunter at PartyPoker
The Jackpot Hunter at PartyPoker online poker room is a special Sit and Go poker competition that starts on Tuesday 1 December and finishes on Thursday 31 December. A total of $160,000 in prize money will be paid out to players who have the skill and self-discipline that it takes to win give Single Table Tournaments in a row. Even better, the prizes are shared between three different levels so that all players have a chance of winning regardless of bankroll size.
The three levels are referred to as Bronze, Silver and Gold. There are five $10,000 prizes available at the Bronze level, and that is for Sit and Go games that have a buy-in of $3 to $11, inclusive. The Silver level offers three prizes of $20,000 and relates to Sit and Go games costing $12 to $54, inclusive. The Gold level has just one prize, but it is worth a massive $50,000 and relates to Sit and Go games with a buy-in of $55 or more.
To win any of the jackpot prizes on offer, you need to win five Sit and Go tournaments in a row at the relevant level. For example, if you want to win a Bronze level prize of $10,000 then you will need to win five consecutive games that have a buy-in of $3 to $11 (but not $12 or more as those games are in the Silver level). Similarly, if you want to win the Gold jackpot then your five winning games must have a buy-in of $55 or more.
Now we have said before that winning several Sit and Go poker games in a row isn’t easy, but nothing that is worth doing in life is ever easy. And with a total of $160,000 on offer you can be sure that playing for a Jackpot Hunter prize is well worth doing. Besides, even if you don’t win five games in a row you could still pick up plenty of prize money from the Sit and Go games themselves.
For the purposes of The Jackpot Hunter, only Single Table Sit and Go games that have 10 players will qualify, so make sure that you concentrate on those to avoid disappointment. Obviously, the best thing to do before the competition starts is to check out the full terms and conditions, so take a moment to visit PartyPoker and do that now. If you have the time (and we can all make time for poker!) you might also want to play a few warm-up games between now and the start of the competition to get yourself into the winning groove. Good luck!
