Summer Festival of Free Poker
We’re more than half-way through the month of May and that means Summer is just around the corner. Online poker room players will of course be looking forward to many things over the coming months, including sun, sand and surf, but one extra thing to look forward to is the Summer Festival of Free Poker at PokerStars. And the good news is that the Summer Festival of Free Poker comes a little earlier than you might expect, with the main event taking place on Sunday 30 May.
The main event that we are referring to is a £100,000 Freeroll tournament which gives you a chance of winning a share of – you guessed it – a prize pool worth £100,000. Rather than simply allowing every Tom, Dick and Harriet to sign up directly for free, players who want to participate in this very special tournament will need to win their way into it by playing in a range of free-to-enter qualifiers that are already running at the PokerStars site.
As well as playing for a seat in the big £100,000 Freeroll tournament, you can also try and win packages to UKIPT (UK & Ireland Poker Tour) events in Brighton and Nottingham. Because this is the Summer Festival of Free Poker you won’t need to spend a single penny trying to win yourself one of these – just register for any of the UKIPT Freerolls (there is one each Saturday and one each Sunday) and play to win!
The online qualifiers for the £100,000 Freeroll tournament run until Friday 28 May, and the weekly UKIPT Freerolls run until Sunday 30 May, so you have almost two solid weeks in which to win yourself seats in the events that appeal to you. Our advice is to visit PokerStars today and get involved immediately, and if you win yourself a seat in one or more of the big events we wish you the best of luck in going on to win a cash prize.
