PokerStars SCOOP 2010
The PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker 2010 (also referred to as SCOOP 2010) gets underway this Sunday 2 May and runs through to Sunday 16 May. Over the course of that time, 38 online poker room events will be played and $45,000,000 (yes $45 million) of prize money will be won, and the even better news is that any PokerStars player can get involved, so if you don’t already have a PokerStars account you should act quickly and get one now!
The 38 events that make up the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker 2010 include every type of poker game that you can think of, so whether you are a die-hard fan of No Limit Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Razz, 7 Card Stud, 5 Card Draw, Badugi, HORSE or virtually any other poker variation, SCOOP 2010 will give you a chance to make a hefty amount of prize money by playing it well.
The PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker culminates in a two day No Limit Hold’em Main Event that will give away around $8,000,000 in prize money, and will see one winner walk away with a top prize of $1,000,000. That kind of cash will prove to be very attractive to poker players of every discipline, so even those who set their main sights on the Omaha or 7 Card Stud action will probably want to have a go at the Main Event as well.
As you would expect, you can either buy-in to any of the 38 events directly, or you can win yourself a seat in whatever event you are interested in by participating in satellites. There are already plenty of satellites running, so if you head over to PokerStars today you could well have started winning your way to your chosen event by the end of the week, if not sooner.
However you decide to get involved in the PokerStars SCOOP 2010, be sure to enjoy your participation in what should be one of the biggest online events of the year, and good luck in securing yourself a winning position!
