Online Cash Game Championships
Level One of the first ever Online Cash Game Championships (OCGC) gets underway at PartyPoker today (Monday 05 April) and runs until Friday 09 April. The OCGC gives online poker room players the opportunity to demonstrate exactly how good they are at cash poker games, so if you fancy proving yourself and winning a slice of $250,000 at the same time, you need to get involved ASAP.
Level One of the OCGR involves playing at $0.50/$1 no-limit Hold’em cash tables. Play 400 hands in a day and if you are among the top 30% of the most profitable players you will continue to Level Two, which runs from 12-16 April. Again, the game here is $0.50/$1 no-limit Hold’em.
Finish in the top 30% of Level Two and you’ll win a $50 prize and advance to Level Three, which runs from 19-21 April. The Level Three action involves $1/$2 no-limit Hold’em, and if you finish among the top 30% of players you will win a cash prize of $200 and advance to Level Four.
Lever Four runs from 26-27 April and again involves $1/$2 no-limit Hold’em. Finish in the top 50 and you will win a cash prize of $400 and advance to Level Five.
Level Five runs from 29-30 April and will be played at $2/$4 no-limit Hold’em tables. Finish in the top 18 and you will win $1,500 cash and get $1,500 to sit at the Level Six tables.
Level Six takes place on Monday 03 May and here the game is $5/$10 no-limit Hold’em. If you are among the top 6 then you will win $5,000 cash and get $5,000 to sit at the final Level Seven table.
Level Seven takes place on Friday 07 May and the game here is $25/$50 no-limit Hold’em. You’ll need to finish in the first three to get a prize here, with $10,000 going to the player in third and $20,000 to the player in second. The outright winner will get $40,000.
