New Year Monthly Million
As the end of 2009 looms ever closer, online poker room players are being offered a myriad of exciting poker opportunities to look forward to in 2010. Over at William Hill we are eagerly anticipating the first Monthly Million tournament of the New Year. This offers a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000 and is scheduled to take place on Sunday 10 January at 7pm.
Those of you who have been able to build a sizeable bankroll in 2009 might want to consider a direct buy-in to the first Monthly Million tournament of 2010, and if that’s the case then doing so will cost you $500+$35. However, if you don’t yet have a bankroll that can accommodate such a direct buy-in, or you would simply prefer to try and participate in the Monthly Million main event for less, the alternative is to take the satellite route.
There are plenty of Monthly Million satellites already running at William Hill Poker, and because the main event doesn’t take place until 10 January you have enough time to win yourself a seat even if you enter the cheapest satellites available. Another advantage of taking the satellite route is that it enables you to get some serious practice in for the big event itself.
The Monthly Million tournament gives you the chance to win yourself a substantial amount of money before you get even halfway through the first month of the New Year. If you seized this opportunity and made the most of it (which means playing well enough to win yourself a decent chunk of cash) then you could then use your winnings to take on other big tournaments throughout the remainder of 2010, or maybe participate in higher stake cash games if that would be preferable to you. Of course, you might just decide to take your Monthly Million winnings and enjoy a holiday or buy yourself a new car.
The bottom line is that how you decide to spend any Monthly Million prize money you win is up to you, but before you can enjoy making that decision you first need to participate, so visit William Hill Poker today and get involved!
