You start the Laddies World Cup event by choosing a team that you want to side with in the Groups stage on Thursday 10 June. There are 32 teams in the 2010 World Cup so 32 MTTs will be running, one for each team. The buy-in for any team is €5 + €0.50, and if you finish in the top 10% of your tournament (which will have €100 added) and your team gets through to the final 16, you move on to the Last 16 tournament for your team.

The Last 16 tournaments take place on Friday 25 June and if you didn’t finish in the top 10% of the Group tournament, or your team didn’t proceed then you can buy-in to a tournament at this level for €10 + €1. The tournaments here have €150 added, and once again the top 10% of players will receive free entry to the Quarter Finals tournaments as long as their team also makes the Quarter Finals in the World Cup.

Quarter Finals tournaments take place on Thursday 1 July and once again if you didn’t get free entry you can buy-in directly, this time for €15 + €1.50. Each tournament here has €200 added and the top 10% of players in every winning team will make progress to the Semi-Finals.

The Semi-Finals tournaments will take place on Monday 5 July, and if you need to buy-in directly it will cost you €20 + €2. Each of these tournaments will have €250 added, and if you finish in the top 10 of a winning team you will proceed to the Finals.

Two Finals tournaments are scheduled for Saturday 10 July, and players who want or need to buy-in directly will have to pay €25 + €2.50. There is €500 added to each of these tournaments and the top 10% of each winning team will progress to the Laddies World Cup Final.

The climax of the event is the Laddies World Cup Final which takes place on Monday 12 July. The direct buy-in to this €2,500 added tournament will be €50 + €5.

Whether you and your team win your way to the World Cup or whether you have to buy back into the Laddies World Cup event at some point, these tournaments are a great way of playing poker as the World Cup unfolds. Visit Ladbrokes Poker for full details and good luck in reaching the final!
