Celebrate 2 Billion Hands at InterPoker
InterPoker is inviting all online poker room players to celebrate a massive landmark that is looming on the horizon – the dealing of 2 billion hands of poker! At the time of writing there have been just over 1,941,194,000 hands dealt at InterPoker, so it isn’t far from the 2 billionth hand, and to make sure that the landmark is observed in style InterPoker is giving away €250,000 in cash prizes.
The 2 billionth hand itself will be celebrated with a €50,000 payout. €25,000 will be won by the player who wins the 2 billionth hand itself and the other €25,000 will be shared between the other players involved in the hand. The great thing about this prize is that it remains the same no matter what size stakes are being used at the table, so you could be betting at the $0.02/0.04 level and still end up winning €25,000 or a share thereof!
So where does the other €200,000 go, you may well be asking? The answer is that it will be won by online poker players at every mini-landmark hand after 1,970,000,000 (see the InterPoker website for full details). The amount that you can win depends on the stakes you are playing at when each hand hits, as follows:
If you are playing at a Micro Stakes table (0.02/0.04 to 0.15/0.30) then the winner of each mini-landmark hand will get €500 and another €500 will be shared between the other players.
If you are playing at a Low Stakes table (0.25/0.50 to 0.75/1.50) then the winner of each mini-landmark hand will get €1,000 and another €1,000 will be shared between the other players.
If you are playing at a Medium Stakes table (1/2 to 4/8) then the winner of each mini-landmark hand will get €1,500, with another €1,500 being shared between the other players.
If you are playing at a High Stakes table (5/10 +) then the winner of each mini-landmark will get €2,000, with – you guessed it – another €2,000 being shared between the other players.
As if all of that wasn’t enough, absolutely everyone who is dealt into the final 100 hands will qualify for a special €4,000 freeroll!
