Big Little Tournament at Full Tilt Poker
A Big Little Tournament has been announced by Full Tilt Poker for January 2010. The name of the tournament is inspired by the fact that it gives online poker room players a shot at winning a big amount of money (the prize pool is worth $1,000,000) for buy-in amounts that are, well, little. We’re talking about direct buy-ins that cost as little as $5 + $0.50 or satellite buy-ins that start at $0.50!
The Big Little Tournament comprises four separate tournaments, each offering a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. The full schedule is as follows:
Sunday 03 January at 18:45 – No Limit Hold’em
Sunday 10 January at 18:45 – Turbo No Limit Hold’em
Sunday 17 January at 18:45 – No Limit Hold’em
Sunday 24 January at 18:45 – Turbo No Limit Hold’em
As we said earlier, you can buy into any of these tournaments for just $5 + $0.50, but for those of you who want to try and win yourself an entry for even less, satellite games are already on offer at Full Tilt Poker.
The Big Little Tournament can accommodate up to 50,000 players, but once that number is reached you won’t be able to participate at any price. It is therefore a good idea to win yourself a seat as early as possible, or to register in advance, so that you don’t miss out.
Turning a small stake into a larger amount is always something that online poker players are interested in, so the opportunity to turn a genuinely paltry buy-in of $5 or less into a slice of a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool really can’t be ignored. If some kind soul gives you a new 2010 diary for Christmas instead of socks then be sure to mark the above Big Little Tournament dates down without hesitation. And in the meantime, visit Full Tilt Poker to secure your place in the first event!
