200K Guaranteed Headhunter at InterPoker
InterPoker has announced a €200,000 Guaranteed Headhunter tournament that will take place on Sunday 17 January at 5pm. The buy-in is €300 + €20 and the top 100 players will all make a good profit, with cash prizes starting at €400 for those finishing is 81st to 100th place, and those finishing in better positions winning considerably more. Win this tournament outright and you will walk away with €36,000. Finish in 2nd or 3rd place and your prize will be €22,000 or €15,000, respectively.
Because this is a Headhunter tournament you can also make money even if you don’t finish in the top 100. Every online poker room player you eliminate (and we stress that this means anyone at all) will give you a Headhunter prize of €75. Knock out five players and you would make a profit regardless of where you finish in the tournament overall, and that’s assuming that you have paid €320 to buy in directly!
If you don’t want to spend €320 that a direct buy-in would cost, there are satellites running which give you the chance to win a seat in the €200,000 Guaranteed Headhunter tournament for as little as €3.30. Of course, if you wanted to spend a bit more to reduce the number of satellite games you need to play in to win a seat, you can buy-in to a Daily Final (which takes place at 6:10pm) for €32 + €3.
Whether you win yourself a seat in the main event or you buy-in directly, you will be up against at least 199 other players (we predict that there will be considerably more) in a game of No Limit Hold’em. You will start the event with a 5,000 chip stack and blinds will increase every 15 minutes.
