15 Quizzes of Crimbo
Ladbrokes Poker is getting into the Christmas Spirit by hosting a 15 Quizzes of Crimbo competition. The competition involves answering 15 questions – each of which has a Christmas theme – and if you get all of them right (which shouldn’t be difficult if you follow the advice that we will give you shortly) then you will be in the running to win a free seat in a Mystery Bounty Tournament that takes place on Friday 18 December.
One question will be asked each day on the 15 Quizzes of Crimbo page at the Ladbrokes Poker website. The competition started on 1 December and the questions will therefore keep coming until 15 December, but don’t worry, you have until 23:59 on Tuesday 15 December to get all of your answers in, so there is plenty of time for you to get involved.
There are 25 free seats in the Mystery Bounty Tournament up for grabs, so it is well worth having a stab at the 15 Quizzes of Crimbo competition. If you get your answers right and you are selected to receive one of the free seats, you will be notified by Thursday 17 December.
Of course, before you can stand a chance of winning a free seat, you first need to get the right answers to the 15 questions posed. To help you increase your odds of success here, we are happy to offer the following advice:
Explore the Ladbrokes Poker website and online poker room lobby thoroughly. This will often be enough to help you answer the question, especially if it relates to a particular Ladbrokes tournament. For example, the question for Day 1 was: “What is the guaranteed prize pool of the 100 Series tournament on the 7th December?” and you can find the answer to that by taking a look at the tournament details in the lobby.
Follow the hints. Ladbrokes Poker will often given you a hint if the question is deemed to be potentially tricky, so follow any hints that appear on the question screen to make life easier.
Use the web. There is no rule that says you can’t look things up, so if you’re really stumped you can use Google, Wikipedia and similar online resources to help you out.
The Mystery Bounty Tournament starts at 7pm on Friday 18 December, and has €2,000 added. Eliminate one of ten Ladbrokes Poker staff from the tournament and you’ll win a €50 bounty.
