100 Series Tournaments for January
Ladbrokes Poker has announced that there will be two 100 Series online poker room tournaments in January 2010. Regular readers may recall that 100 Series tournaments are so-called because they involve a maximum of 100 players. Prizes are paid to the top ten finishers, so if you enter a 100 Series tournament you effectively have a 1 in 10 chance of finishing in the money based on luck alone. Add a dash of your own skill and self-discipline and your odds could be even better!
€10,000 Guaranteed
The first 100 Series tournament of 2010 will take place on Monday 4 January at 19:00 GMT. The direct buy-in will be €100 + €10 and the tournament will have a guaranteed prize pool of €10,000. Make it into the final 10 and you will come away with at least €250. Finish in the top three and you’ll win at least €1,200. And if you actually win this tournament outright you will come away with €3,500!
You can also win yourself a seat in the €10,000 Guaranteed 100 Series tournament by playing in satellites. Daily Final rebuy satellite games will take place at 20:15 GMT and each one guarantees two seats – not bad for an initial buy-in of just €8 + €0.50!
€30,000 Guaranteed
Whether or not you make money from the first 100 Series tournament of 2010, you will certainly want to have a go at the second. This one takes place on Monday 11 January and has a guaranteed prize pool of €30,000. The top three finishers will get €10,000, €6,000 and €4,000 respectively, and even if you only finish in tenth place you will still win yourself €650.
To buy-in directly to the €30,000 Guaranteed tournament will cost you €300 + €20, but once again you can win yourself a seat by taking the satellite route. There will be Daily Final satellites at 20:00 GMT (€32 + €3 buy-in) or you can enter a variety of satellite feeders from as little as €3.50 + €0.30.
It’s always nice to have something big to look forward to as we approach a new year, and these two 100 Series tournaments for January fit the bill perfectly. Visit Ladbrokes Poker now to check out the rules and schedules, then start playing for your seats or buy-in directly, as you prefer.
